When Timeless Nebraska Media photographs real estate for an agent’s listing, I start off as a stranger but leave as a friend. The seller may never meet me, but for a brief moment, I catch a glimpse into the home’s life and, in essence, tell the story of the property. It’s incredibly enjoyable to photograph both the old homes built in the late 1800s and the modern homes constructed in the last decade. There are plenty of every style of home in Omaha, Nebraska. I seek out the hidden corners and details of each building. The character of the railings from yesteryear and the sleek appearance of iron in 2023 captivate me. Whether it’s the curve of the steps in mid-century modern homes or the texture of the oak floors in a 1914 residence, I can feel the stories waiting to be shared. That old telephone stand must have witnessed countless tales, and the mirror built above the fireplace mantle surely reflected many holiday trees.
When a property has been well cared for, I strive to showcase its brilliance in the images I capture. The textures, colors, lines, and the overall ambiance can be truly awe-inspiring.
